Part 3: Friends and Enemies

As the early morning golden sun shone on the beach Amber slowly woke her head resting gently on Bray's soft rippled chest."Morning beautiful." Bray whispered as he lightly kissed her forehead. "Morning." Amber smiled and slowly raised her head to look at Bray's face. "We should be getting back to the Mall." Bray said as he hugged Amber one last time before standing up and putting on his top."I can't Bray!" Amber said in a ferm voice as she stood up next to him brushing the sand of her trousers.

"Shouldn't we send some one to look for Bray?" Trudy asked pacing the cafe floor with Brady cradled safely in her arms."He'll be back he needs some time to cool off. Any way I think we should be worrying about Danni." Lex said as he slouched next to Kc."You can't seriously be suggesting we risk our lives looking for that Bill Of writes Loving tramp?" Trudy Yelled."Chill babe, who said anything about looking for her? I was going to say we should do something to keep her out." Lex said with a huge grin plastered across his face. Even Trudy had to smile at that.

"What do you mean you can't go back Amber?" Bray asked as he placed his hands firmly on Amber's shoulder making her face him."I mean I can't Bray, everyone there thinks I'm and I'd rather it stay that way." "You can't mean that Amber, What about Dal and Trudy it hurt them as much as it hurt me when I thought you were dead. Amber all I'm asking is you come back to me just to see how you feel about being back there and after a week if you still don't want to be their then we'll leave just me, you and our baby. What do you say?" Bray asked hopeful.

10 minuets later Bray and Amber arrived back at the Mall as they reached the fountain that stood firmly in the middle of the Mall. Bray yelled to the others. "We're back." As the others ran down the stairs they were stunned to see Amber."Amber." Trudy said delighted as she hugged her friend. With in a few minuets later Amber and Bray were swarmed with Mall Rats all asking the same question "Where have you been." "Everyone Ambers tired she'll ask plain where she'll explain where she's been after she's had a sit down and a worm drink." Bray said trying to push past the Mall Rats to get to the cafe.

"So?" Salene asked 10 minuets later as all the Mall Rats looked anxiously."I was unconscious on Eagle Mountain, some one dragged me out of the fire. When I came round you were gone so I tried to come back but I was caught by a tribe the Chosen when I escaped I came back here but I met Bray at the beach." Amber said as she looked around the room at all the new face's. Bray stood up behind her "Me and Amber have two things we want to announce." Bray said breaking the silence that had stumbled in to the room. "First we're are back together and second there's going to be a new arrival to the tribe Ambers pregnant with my baby." Just as Bray said this Danni burst in to the cafe her face had been cut with a knife witch was dripping with blood and the was a big browse forming around her eye."What happened to you?" Lex asked not making an attempt to help her."The Rosters that's what." Danni said as she glanced at Bray.

Part 4: Hatred Blooms

"Who's this?" Danni asked in her usual whining tone as she pointed to Amber who Bray had his arm around. "This is Amber we're back together." Bray said proudly as he kissed Amber's red lips."Amber this is Danni the person I told you about." "But it can't be Amber's dead." Danni moaned."Well she's obviously not! So why don't you go and crawl back in the trash can you came out of." Trudy said as Danni's cut still dripped with blood."What do you mean you're back together? What about you and me?""There is no you and me we've been over for weeks now.""How can you say that? What about the Bill Of Writes?""You can stick the Bill Of Writes because if I never here about it again it'll be to soon." Bray said starting to angry at Danni."This is all that cows fault if she was dead like she'd sur post to be then you'd never had ended it with me." Danni said as she flew at Amber and slapped her around the face Amber stood up and punched Danni in the face causing her to break her nose."I can see why Bray dumped you Danni you're such a moaning *****." Amber said as she got the Bill Of Writes and ripped it into small peace's. Amber stepped over Danni, took Bray's hand and headed for her and Bray's old room.

"How dare she?" Danni complained as she stormed in to her room. "I'll get even with her just wait and see." Danni said as she looked at the newly formed purple and gray browse around her now broken nose.

A week later when everyone woke up there was a special meal waiting for them with names at each place."Let's took in!" Lex said with out even wondering who had made it. As everyone sat down to eat Danni stood in the kitchen watching as Amber took a bite out of her food she started to feel nauseous so she past it to Bray."No Bray you can't eat that!" Danni said as she flew out of the kitchen and knocked the bowl out of Bray's had, the bowl shattered in to a million peace's on the floor."What the hell did you do that for?" Bray asked as he stood up."That was meant for her!""What was?" Bray yelled back at Danni."Poison that's what !" Ebony said as she pointed to the green powder that had started to form around the shattered bowl on the floor. "You ***** Danni!" Trudy said as she ran over to her and kicked her at the back of each leg making her fall moaning to the flat brown floor."Amber are you okay?" Bray asked concerned as he remembered that Amber had eaten some of the food."Yeah I think so.""We should get you checked out to make sure." Bray said as he led her out of the cafe.

Part 5:Lightning Never Strikes Twice

Five minutes later Bray walked in to his and Amber's room. Amber was resting in bed."How is she?" Bray asked Dal."She and the baby are fine luckily she was sick witch got rid of anything she had eaten." Dal said as he left the two lovers alone."How are you feeling?" Bray said as he sat next to Amber on the bed and took her hand."I'm fine it's just, I knew Danni was a cow but I didn't think she was a murderer.""I wouldn't put anything past her. I don't know what I'd have done if I lost you again Amber. You and the baby mean the world to me, I love you so much Amber." Bray said suddenly."I love you two Bray and I'm not planning on leaving or loosing you." Amber said as she kissed Bray passionately as she did their was a huge thud from the sewers."What was that?" Dal asked as the Mall Rats ran to the top of the balcony and the deafening alarms started to ring. "Were under attack!" Patsy gasped."Ryan, Salene get the kids in to the cage." Amber said as she and Bray rushed to join the others."Amber I think you should go with them, you can hardly walk!" Bray said worried."I'll be fine." Amber said and rushed to organize the others.

"Trudy, Amber go to the basement and stay there if these are like Tribe circus then we'll need someone to help if things go wrong." Bray said a few minuets later determined to get Amber to safety. He slowly looked at his pregnant girlfriend and his niece."Bray..." Amber tried to protest but Bray ran off before she could "Bray the doors wont hold for much longer!" Dal yelled as he looked at the tall wooden green doors that had a plank of brown wood across them."Okay everyone grab a weapon. Lex, Ryan, Alice, Ebony ground floor with me. Dal, Jack, Ellie, Salene, Tai-San, Pride you go on the second floor." Bray yelled as the Mall Rats grabbed some wooden sticks Salene and Ebony had got from the furniture shop."What about me?" Danni moaned."Just stay out of my way." Bray yelled at her. The Mall Rats got ready as the doors to the sewers burst open and in flew the Rosters who quickly spread out. "Where is she?" The Roster leader asked as he busily scanned around the Mall with his bright green eyes."Who?" Ryan asked slightly puzzled."The moaning little ***** who goes by the name of Danni." The leader said as he continued to scan the Mall Rats."She's here!" Lex shouted as he pushed her to the front of the Mall Rats down stairs after he got sick of complaining."Okay, Mall Rats stand aside our quarrels with her not you." The leader said in a harsh tone."Well what's it gonna be?" The leader asked as he looked at Alice who stood in front of a browsed eye, complaining Danni. Alice glanced at Bray who shrugged his shoulders so Alice quickly moved aside. "This is from everyone who's ever met you." One of the Rosters said as he walked over to Danni with a long, thin, brown pole and hit her in the stomach.

A few minutes later all the Rosters joined in and started to kick Danni. "If we ever catch you on our sector again we'll kill you!" The leader yelled as he called off the others and they left almost as quickly as they arrived. The Mall Rats stood shocked.

"Is she dead?" Patsy asked as she glanced at the motionless browsed body."I hope so." Jack said Tai-San and Dal rushed over to her."Well is she breathing?" Lex asked as he glanced at his watch that he'd found in the antique shop a few days earlier."She's still breathing!" Tai-San announced."Pity!" Ellie whispered to Jack."Ryan help me get her to her room!" Dal shouted.

Part 6: Crash and Burn 

One hour later Danni had a woken with big browses all over her face and one long cut that was still gushing with bright red blood."How are you feeling?" Tai-San asked kindly."How do you think I'm feeling?" Danni snapped"I wont bother asking next time if that's your attitude!" Tai-San said as she quickly left the room.

"What exactly did the Roster's want?" Amber asked as she sat down in the cafe."They kicked Danni's *** , it was great Amber you should have scene it." Kc said with a huge grin plastered on his face.""They had some argument with Danni she'd been whining on there turff and they weren't happy." Bray explained to Amber and Trudy.

Danni quietly snuck past the cafe she walked to the casino. Danni slumped herself on a stool in the corner of the bar. Most of the city kids who new her kept their distance."Hi I'm Lita ." A young girl who was new to the city who felt sorry for Danni said as she sat next to Danni."If you don't mind me asking how did that happen?" Lita asked in a kind voice."A girl called Amber stole my boyfriend then she pushed me down the stairs which made me loose my baby." Danni said she could see that Lita felt sorry for her."If there's anything I can do to help just ssay." Lita the tall blond girl said."Well their is some thing you could do." "Name it." "You can help me get Amber out of the was so me and Bray can get back together." Lita smiled and nodded."What do you want me to do?" Once Danni had explained to Lita what she wanted her to do she silently returned to the Mall like she'd never been out.

Part 7:
Kiss and make up

The early morning sun flickered on the long, dancing, green grass. No one had noticed Danni's continued disappearance neither did they care.
"Morning beautiful." Bray said softly as he sat on the bed next to Amber.
"Bray, what time is it?" Amber asked as she sat up.
"It's 6 O'clock, we best get moving other wise we wont have time."
"Have time for what?" Amber asked curiously.
"Wait and see." Bray softly said as he gently kissed Amber's soft pink cheek.

1 hour later Bray took Ambers hand he carefully helped her out of the sewers on to the long windy, bright, green grass.
"Bray where are we going?" Amber asked as she gazed in to Bray's bright brown eyes.
"You'll see." Bray grinned and took Amber's hand again.

"Has anyone scene Bray and Amber this morning?" Tai-San asked as she sat next to Lex.
"I saw them leave through the sewers earlier. Bray's planned a surprise for Amber." Dal said with a grin on his face as he sat next to Jack, Ellie and Alice.
"I needed to tell Amber something but it can wait." Tai-San said as she smiled at Lex.

"How are you Tai-San?" Trudy asked half an hour later as she walked into the quiet cafe with Brady in her arms.
"Oh, I'm fine thanks Trudy." Tai-San said as she looked up at her friend.
"Are you excited about the baby?" Trudy asked as she placed Brady in her high chair and sat down across from Tai-San.
"Yeah, Lex has done nothing but fuss since I told him. I'm just hoping that it'll be born around the same time as Amber and Bray's." Tai-San said she had found out that she was pregnant two days after Amber had returned..
"Well they can't be too far apart. What are you hoping for?" Trudy asked curiously.
"I know Lex is hoping for a son, but I think a little girl would be nice!" Tai-San said as she placed her hand on her swollen stomach.
"If you really wanna know the truth I don't know a thing about having a baby or looking after one. I've never looked after a baby. When my sister was born I was only two years old. So, what if I do something wrong?" Tai-San asked, worried as she looked at her friend.
"I felt the same way when I found out I was pregnant with Brady. I was on my own with no one to help me. That's why I was so relieved when Bray found me. But even with Bray's help I didn't know what to do. But when she was born I all happened automatically. I know what to do most of the time and what I didn't know I guessed but after a while it became a routine. And I new what to do it and when to do it." Trudy said trying to reassure Tai-San.

"We're there." Bray said as he and Amber reached the tall cliff. Amber smiled as she saw the wild, red, white, yellow and blue flowers that were swaying like a slow dance in the cool breeze. As Amber looked around she saw a checked red and green blanket laid neatly on top was a small picnic.
"Bray this is wonderful." Amber said with a wide grin across her face.
"I thought you deserved to be spoilt and any way I never did give you that feast I promised you when we were on Hope Island." Amber hugged Bray she softly whispered "I love you." And she kissed him passionately.

"Jack can you check on Danni? No one else will and I'm busy." Tai-San said as she handed Jack a tray with milk on it and a sandwich. Jack reluctantly agreed to take Danni her food. Just before Jack got to Danni's room he took 4 sleeping pills from a jar and crushed them in to Danni's drink. Jack quickly placed the tray outside Danni's room. Knocked on the door and ran.

5 minutes later Jack and Kc returned to Danni's room. They could tell she was asleep from the loud snorting sound that could be heard in the cafe
"Kc did you bring it?" Jack asked as he looked at the short green haired boy.
"Sure did." Kc said as he handed Jack a pair of silver scissors and a few other accessories.
"This is gonna be fun." Jack said with a huge grin on his face.

"Bray we should be getting back, it's starting to get dark." Amber stood up, shook the blanket and started to fold it. Bray rapped his arms around Amber's waste and softly kissed her neck. Amber felt a worm glow inside her every time Bray touched her.
"You're right we should get moving." Bray said as he picked up the blanket and basket.

Half an hour later Bray and Amber arrived back at the Mall only to here a huge scream. Amber and Bray quickly joined the other Mall Rats on the balcony as the Mall Rats saw Danni they burst out laughing.
"Who did this ?" Danni moaned. Jack and Kc had drawn a permanent beard and mustache on her face and had cut her hair off to make it un even.
"What have you done?" Danni complained.
"We gave you a make over, you needed one." Jack and Kc said laughing.

Part 8:
Troubled Hearts

Danni had been scrubbing her face all night long but she couldn't get rid of the permanent pen. All the rubbing had achieved was making her look even uglier than normal.

Bray softly gazed at Amber, every time he looked at her he fell more and more in love with her. Bray smiled as he saw the light blond curls fall softly on Ambers rosy cheeks. As Bray lightly kissed her head Amber slowly awoke.
"You look beautiful." Bray said as a smile graced his face.
"You don't look so bad yourself." Amber said as she returned Bray's smile.
"We best get up." Bray said as he reluctantly got out of bed and pulled on his trousers. Amber pulled on a silk black skirt and a white top. She hated getting out of bed because she new when she did she wouldn't be able to spend all day with Bray like she did yesterday.
"Amber come quick Patsy's sick." Cloe said as she rushed in to Amber and Bray's room. Amber looked at Bray and quickly followed Cloe.

"Hey whatt's the matter sweet heart?" Amber sat next to Patsy.
"I don't feel to good Amber." Patsy said crying. Amber felt Patsy's head it was hot and sweaty.
"Cloe get me a wet cloth and tell Dal I need him here." Amber said as she looked at the little girl.
"What's wrong with her?" Salene asked she walked over and sat next to Patsy.
"She's got a fever." Amber explained.

"Hey Jack Bray said as he walked into the busy cafe. Jack sat at a table writing something down.
"Hi Bray."
"What are you writing?" Bray sat down next to Jack.
"I'm trying to work out a new filtration system the old ones had it."

5 minutes later Dal arrived in Patsy's room.
"She's got a fever and keeps vomiting." Salene explained.
"It sounds like a cold." Dal said as he searched his medical bag.
"Here's some antibiotics they should bring her temperature down, give her two every three hours. They should start to take effect in the next hour." Dal said as he handed Salene the medicine.

Bray smiled at Amber as she walked in to there room an hour later.
"How's Patsy?" Bray sat next to Amber on the bed.
"She's a lot better her fevers gone down Dal and Trudy are taking it in turns to monitor her. Amber said as she softly gazed at Bray she lent forward and kissed him passionately.

10 minutes later all the Mall Rats were awakened by a loud shattering scream.

Part 9:
Heartache

"Amber, Bray, quick it's Tai-San she's gone in to labor." Lex said excitedly as he stood at the bottom of the stairs.
"Cloe, Kc, Jack get the water. Ryan, Ebony get some blankets and clean rags. Ellie you and Alice get some scissors and rubber bands. Trudy come and help me and Bray." Amber instructed everyone.

"How long have you been having your contractions Tai-San?"
"About an hour I wasn't sure what it was till 10 minutes ago, when my waters broke." Tai-San said as Lex took her hand.
"It looks like it's gonna be a long night, so why don't you and Bray get some sleep, then we can swap over later." Amber and Bray agreed and left Trudy to it.
"AAARRRGGGHHH!" Tai-San screamed.
"It's okay Tai-San your doing great. There's a little while to go but it'll all be worth it when you hold your baby for the first time."
"Trudy here's the water and the blankets." Jack said as he laid the water on the floor and Ebony laid the cloths next to it, and they left the room.

2 hours later Tai-Sans contractions had started to get closer they were only 3 minutes apart. Amber and Bray had taken over from Trudy.
"Come on Tai-San push!"
"AAARRRGGGHH!"
"That's it Tai-San you're doing great." Amber said as she wiped Tai-Sans forehead with a wet cloth.
"I HATE YOU LEX!" Tai-San screamed as she started to squeeze Lex's hand tight, making it go bright red.
"Okay Tai-San you're gonna have to push really hard." Bray said. Tai-San took a deep breath.
"AAARRRGGGHHH!"
"I can see the head." Lex said excitedly.
"Not long now just a couple more push's." Amber said, continuing to wipe Tai-Sans head.
"I can't Amber!" Tai-San said exhausted.
"You have to, you've done so well and it's nearly over." Tai-San nodded, she griped Lex's hand.
"Come on, one big push."
"AAARRRGGGHHH!"
"Last push now Tai-San, come on, you can do it!" Tai-San took a huge gasp and started to push.
"AAARRRGGGHHH!" After a few seconds you could here the weak cry of a tiny baby.
"Well done Tai-San you have a wonderful little boy." Amber, wrapped the baby up and past him to his mum.

By 10 O'clock most of the Mall Rats were awake and wanting to see the new arrival to the Mall Rats.

Amber went to the roof she needed some quiet. As she looked over the side at the tall building. She saw Bray talking to a young brown haired girl. Amber studied the girl but she'd never scene her before as she studded them for a few minutes she saw them embrace in a tight hug. Amber ran down the stairs, back in to the Mall with her blue eyes streaming with tears.

"What are you gonna call him?" Patsy asked as all the Mall Rats sat around Tai-San and the baby.
"We decided to call him Luke." Lex announced proudly as Tai-San handed him the baby.
Amber grabbed a bag and started to fill it with her clothes.
"Amber what's going on?" Bray asked as he walked in to the room and saw Amber crying and packing her bag. Amber ignored Bray and started to walk past him. Bray grabbed her arm.
"Amber what's wrong? Tell me."
"Work it out Bray." Amber said not letting Bray stop her. Danni stood around the corner and snickered at the argument between Amber and Bray.

Part 10:
sleepless Nights

Amber had moved back in to her old room. Bray didn't know what was wrong and Amber refused to talk to him.

Later that night the whole Mall was sigh lent all that could be heard was a loud snorting coming from Danni's room. Amber wondered into the cafe.
"Amber what are you doing up?" Trudy sat in the corner of the cafe with Brady.
"I can't sleep." Amber grabbed a glass of water and sat on the table with Trudy.
"It's funny."
"What?"
"Bray was in here earlier he couldn't sleep either. Do you want to tell me about it?"
"I was on the roof earlier, I saw Bray with another girl. He hugged her and I didn't stick around to find out what else they did." Amber said as she placed her glass on the table. Trudy looked at her friend she had promised Bray she wouldn't tell Amber but she new by the look on Amber's face she had to.
"Amber, Bray's ..." Trudy was interrupted by Lex walking in the kitchen with Luke in his arms.
"What are you doing up?" Lex asked half asleep, he reached in to the cupboard and fetched out a bottle of milk.
"We were abducted out of our beds by aliens and dropped here in the cafe." Trudy joked to answer Lex's question, not that Lex was listening. He left the cafe nearly as quickly as he entered it.

"Amber Bray's not seeing another girl. He adores you and is really excited about the baby."
"Then how do you explain what he was doing with her?"
Amber, Bray, he has a sister."
"What?" Amber glanced at Trudy.
"Bray's younger sister Sky. She got in to some trouble before the virus and Bray and Zoot's parents thought it would be best if she went to boarding school. So when the virus hit she was miles away. When she came back she heard that Bray was in the Mall Rats so she came to find him. Bray's been looking after her for a few weeks. She was leaving when you saw her with Bray. She made up with her ex." Trudy explained, Amber sat sigh lent as Trudy took Brady to bed.

Part 11:
Thunder and Roses

The lightening flew in through the window as the thunder crashed under the bright silver moon. Bray tossed and turned all he could do was think of Amber. Why had she ignored him? Didn't she want him anymore? Bray asked himself and frowned. All the answers were down the hall but he couldn't bring himself to go, he was to scared Amber would reject him. He continued to toss and turn.
Amber lay awake staring at the ceiling of the cold room all she could think of was Bray and how much she wanted him to hold her. Amber didn't want to wait any longer, she couldn't she had to see Bray. Amber wandered along the corridor. The rain was still pelting down and the thunder roaring outside.
Amber reached Bray's room a few seconds later. She paused out side the door. Amber knocked slowly. To her surprise Bray answered straight away "Come in." He didn't sound like he'd been asleep. Amber slowly walked in to the room. Bray was sat on the side of the bed.
"Amber what's wrong? Are you okay? Is the baby okay?" Bray asked worried.
"No, Bray I'm fine, the baby's fine." Amber sat on the bed next to Bray.
"I'm sorry." Amber said suddenly in a quiet voice.
"Amber why have you been avoiding me? I don't know what I've done."
"It's what I thought you'd done."
"What do you mean?" Bray asked slightly puzzled.
"When you went outside I saw you with a girl. I saw you hug her and I got the wrong impression.
"Amber there's nothing between..." Bray was cut off by Amber.
"I know Trudy told me, she's your sister. I'm sorry for doubting you Bray." Amber said as she gazed pleadingly at him. Bray softly touched the side of her face.
"Bray I..."
"Ssshhh" Bray passionately kissed Amber's trembling pink lips. Amber slowly laid on the bed facing Bray. All she was wearing was a thin silk night dress. Bray gasped he thought "she gets more beautiful every time I see her. As he leaned over her he could feel her soft hand move throw the dark hair on his chest. As her hand moved lower to his groin he felt himself harden. Bray gazed in her bright blue eyes and felt a sudden need for her. He gently pulled off Amber's night dress. Bray starred a moment at Amber's naked body. Bray started to kiss Amber's neck. Amber felt soft shivers shoot through her body and smiled. "I love you Amber." Bray whispered gently in her ear. Bray started to kiss Amber's soft body. He took her pale, pink nipple in his mouth. Bray continued to stroke down her body until he reached the nest of curls between her thighs. He found her and felt her worm flesh with his fingers. As Amber cried out Bray smiled. He slowly parted her legs, he came over her and thrust himself inside her deeper and deeper. He felt his seed release in side her. Bray cupped his mouth over Ambers to catch her soft moans of pleasure. Before Bray feel asleep he kissed Amber's swollen stomach and held her naked body close to his.

Amber awoke the next day in Bray's arms. She smiled at him, she had a soft gleam in her eyes.
"Are you okay?" Bray asked he kissed her forehead and placed his hand on her stomach.
"Yeah." Amber smiled and kissed Bray.
